Greggory Tilden Fountain Valley Man in Wheelchair Accident Euclid and Warner

Man in Wheelchair, Greggory Tilden, 62, Killed in Fountain Valley Crash

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA (July 11, 2021) – A man in a wheelchair, Greggory Tilden, was killed after a crash in Fountain Valley.

The Orange County coroner’s office identified the 62-year-old man as the victim in the fatal accident which occurred on Saturday.

Fountain Valley police said the incident happened on July 10 when Greggory Tilden was in his wheelchair westbound on Warner Avenue. He was trying to cross the intersection with Euclid Street.

At the same time, a blue 2021 Chrysler Pacifica was going north on Euclid. Police said for an unknown reason, the minivan struck the transient man.

Victim Hit by 2 Vehicles

A northbound white 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee approached and then ran over him and his wheelchair. The Orange County Register and My News LA wrote that the collision took place shortly after 2:30 a.m.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found Greggory Tilden lying on the ground as a result of the crash. He died at the scene.

Meanwhile, Fountain Valley police affirmed the drivers of the Chrysler and the Jeep stopped after hitting the man in the wheelchair. They stayed at the site and cooperated with the officers.

The Fontana collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the police at 714-593-4481.
