Gregory Gibbons, 25, Killed in Corona Crash at Lincoln and Mountain Gate
CORONA, CA (July 11, 2o21) – A car crash killed Gregory Gibbons at Lincoln Avenue and Mountain Gate Drive in Corona.
The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the 25-year-old Corona man as the victim in the fatal wreck which occurred on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened on July 10 when Gregory Gibbons was driving a blue Honda Civic in Corona. For an unknown reason, he and three more vehicles collided.
2 Injured in Car Collision
Police said they crashed at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Mountain Gate Drive. The Press Enterprise and My News LA wrote that the accident took place at about 12:29 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found three of the vehicles involved which sustained significant damage upon impact.
Gregory Gibbons and two other people ended up injured as a result of the Corona crash. Paramedics rushed them to a hospital, where the 25-year-old motorist died.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Lincoln and Mountain Gate to shut down for hours following the collision. The cause of the tragic wreck is still under investigation.
