Gregory Richardson, 51, Killed in Fairfield Crash at San Marco Street and Kidder Avenue
FAIRFIELD, CA (July 8, 2021) – A car crash killed Gregory Richardson at San Marco Street and Kidder Avenue in Fairfield.
The Solano County Coroner’s Office identified the 51-year-old Fairfield man as the victim of the fatal wreck which occurred on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Gregory Richardson was driving near the intersection of San Marco Street and Kidder Avenue in Fairfield.
At the same time, another vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed in the area. Fairfield police said the speeding driver then slammed into the car of Gregory Richardson.
Speeding Driver Hits Another Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced Gregory Richardson dead at the scene of the the crash.
The Reporter wrote that the accident took place on July 6 shortly after 6 p.m. Police did not mention if the other motorist, a Fairfield woman in her 60s, ended up hurt upon impact.
Officers forced the intersection of San Marco and Kidder to shut down following the wreck. The Fairfield crash is still under investigation.
