Pickup Truck, Semi-Truck Crash at Lancaster Intersection
LANCASTER, Calif. (August 29, 2024) – Gregory Sherman Jr., 39, died in a truck accident late Monday night at Avenue G and 30th Street West in Lancaster.
The pickup truck driver and a semi-truck collided about 11 p.m. on August 26th, according to the Los Angles County Sheriff’s Department and MyNewsLA.
Police investigating the deadly crash reported the 39-year-old man was traveling eastbound on Avenue G when a semi-truck headed north on 30th Street West made a left-hand turn onto Avenue G.
The blue pickup truck reportedly crashed into the rear-end of the semi-truck.
Gregory Sherman Jr. suffered major injuries and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Authorities are working to determine fault for the Lancaster truck accident.
