Man Victim in DUI Crash on Old Highway 99
DATE OF COLLISION: Sunday, November 4th
November 5, 2018- According to the Siskiyou Daily News, a deadly DUI collision was reported last night on Old Highway 99 near Pumphouse Road.
The crash occurred at precisely 5:01 p.m. involving a pickup truck and a Ford Focus.
California Highway Patrol officials have concluded that the driver of the pickup truck identified as Tyler Michael Adams-Warf, 22, had been headed northbound swerving all over the road before entering southbound lanes and hitting the Ford Focus head-on.
Inside the Ford was a male victim who has not been identified. He tragically did not survive the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tyler Michael Adams-Warf Arrested
Meanwhile, authorities were able to determine that Adams-Warf had been driving under the influence. Officials placed him under arrest prior to him being taken by ambulance to Fairchild Medical Center. His injuries were considered minor.
According to the article, the 22-year-old man has since been released from the hospital and now is currently being held at Siskiyou County Jail on multiple charges.
