2 Injured in Gridley Rollover Crash at Gilstrap and Obermeyer Tuesday
GRIDLEY (April 16, 2019) – At least one was seriously injured after a traffic collision in the area of Gilstrap and Obermeyer avenues Tuesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, for an unknown reason a GMC Yukon went 30 feet off the roadway and overturned onto its side.
A second vehicle was believed to have been involved in the accident which was reported about 5:09 p.m. at the intersection of Gilstrap and Obermeyer avenues near Highway 99.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the site and attended to two people who were found hurt as a result of the wreck.
Both patients were reportedly taken to Rideout Memorial Hospital for treatment. At least one of them was confirmed to have suffered major injuries upon impact.
Their names and condition at this time were not immediately available. Meanwhile, witnesses said a gray SUV and a silver Chevrolet Silverado were seen driving pass the scene of the crash.
Authorities are still investigating what exactly caused the incident.
