Grisol Ramirez, 22, Killed in West Covina Crash on 10 Freeway
WEST COVINA (January 6, 2019) – A woman was killed after a traffic accident along the 10 Freeway late Saturday night, according to KTLA and San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Grisol Lupita Ramirez, of Pomona.
As per the reports, California Highway Patrol said Ramirez was riding as a front passenger in a 2007 Honda Civic when it hydroplaned in the No. 4 lane of the westbound side of the freeway.
The Honda was traveling at about 65 to 70 mph when its driver, Jesus Angel Reyes, lost control of the car. The incident occurred on January 5 at around 11:30 p.m. near Holt Avenue.

The Civic then slammed into the center median K-rail, went back towards the mainline and became disabled in the No. 2 lane, facing the wrong way.
CHP affirmed that Ramirez got out of the Honda and walked into the path of a Honda Accord in the No. 1 lane. The woman was struck and ended up in the No. 1 lane. She died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Accord, 30-year-old Covina resident Michael Dinh, stopped after the hitting Ramirez.
