Arizona Woman Killed in Desert Center Crash
DESERT CENTER, CA (May 19, 2021) – Guadalupe Medina-Marquez, 67, of Glendale, Arizona, died following a car crash on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway.
The Arizona woman was riding with a second person in a vehicle that overturned in a crash about 9:45 p.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
Additionally, the Riverside County collision happened just east of Eagle Mountain Road, Desert Center, the report said. Police do not yet know what led up to the collision.
Woman Killed; One Injured in Riverside County Accident
Paramedics and police arrived at the scene where they located the vehicle on its side. Guadalupe Medina-Marquez died at the crash scene about 10 p.m., but another person in the vehicle suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics took the person to a hospital for treatment.
Finally, the cause of the crash and liability will be determined by investigators with the California Highway Patrol’s Indio station.
