Guadalupe Nicholas Killed in Crash at Seal Beach Boulevard and St Andrews Drive
SEAL BEACH, CA (November 9, 2021) – Guadalupe Nicholas was killed after a DUI crash at Seal Beach Boulevard and St Andrews Drive.
A criminal complaint identified the woman as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place last week on Thursday.
Police said a vehicle struck the car driven by Guadalupe I. Nicholas in Seal Beach. The other driver ran a red light at the intersection of Seal Beach Boulevard and St Andrews Drive and hit the victim.
The CBS Los Angeles and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on November 4 at about 3:40 p.m. Guadalupe Nicholas, her passenger and the second motorist ended up hurt as a result of the crash.
German Juarez Arrested For DUI
Paramedics rushed them to the hospital, where Guadalupe Nicholas died. Her passenger survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect who caused the collision, 29-year-old German Juarez, sustained minor wounds. Police determined that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
Officers soon charged the Los Angeles man with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated without gross negligence and two counts of DUI causing injury.
They booked him into the Orange County Jail on one count of DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than the legal limit of .08%. He faces sentence enhancements for inflicting great bodily injury on two victims.
