Guadalupe Rubio Killed in Crash at 240th Street East in Lake Los Angeles

ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif., (Sept. 16, 2026) — Guadalupe Rubio, 53, died early Tuesday morning following a crash at 240th Street East and East Avenue P in the Lake Los Angeles area, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 1:01 a.m. on Sept. 15th at the intersection, the CHP said. The crash involved a white SUV and an unidentified vehicle, resulting in blocked lanes at the scene.
Authorities were notified of the collision at 1:42 a.m., prompting an immediate response. Multiple units were dispatched to the site to manage the situation and investigate further. The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner was also informed and coordinated a hard closure of the area around the accident site.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner later identified the woman who died as Guadalupe Rubio. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the collision is ongoing, and CHP officials are urging witnesses to come forward.
