Las Vegas Woman Killed in Crash on 15 Freeway in California
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2019) — Guadalupe Wong Cabada, 54, of Las Vegas, died Sunday in a collision on the Interstate 15 Freeway, just north of Halloran Summit.
The collision took place about 11:17 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
Cabada was riding as a passenger in a Nissan Sentra sedan that was rear-ended by a Porsche Cayenne. The impact caused the Nissan to veer off the road and into a ditch. Cabada died of her injuries at the scene of the collision. The report does not state whether anyone else was hurt in the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
