4 Injured After Rollover Crash on Butts Canyon Road Near Snell Valley Road
NAPA COUNTY (May 16, 20189) – Several people were injured following a traffic collision on Butts Canyon Road Monday morning, according to Napa Valley Register.
As per the article, the accident happened shortly after 8 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, 39-year-old driver Guillermo Garcia-Casillas lost control of his Chevy Blazer while traveling northbound on Butts Canyon Road.
The Blazer reportedly rolled over on the roadway, just south of Snell Valley Road.
Primary reports indicated 29-year-old Benjamin Casas, of Pope Valley, told officers that he used his F-150 pickup to stop the overturned Blazer from traveling any farther across the roadway. Casas was unharmed in the incident.

First responders found four occupants, including Garcia-Casillas, inside the Blazer following the wreck. Officials identified the three passengers who all sustained injuries as a result of the crash–32-year-old J.C. Araujo-Fonseca, and 37-year-old V. Moreno-Sanchez, both of Visalia, and 44-year-old C. Lopes-Barajas, of Dinuba. All injured passengers were reportedly taken by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Meanwhile, Garcia-Casillas was apparently airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital following the crash. The driver suffered what appeared to be major trauma.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the accident.
