GUSTINE, Calif. (August 1, 2018) — A motorcyclist died in a fiery crash early Wednesday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway at the connection to the state Route 152, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash and subsequent grass fire was reported about 4:41 a.m. Police and firefighters responded to the scene and found the rider had passed away and his motorcycle completely burned. The fire also burned the bottom of a power pole and PG&E was called to repair or remove it.
It’s unknown at this time if this was a solo crash or if another motorist was involved.

At this time, we do not know if someone else was liable for this motorcyclist’s death.
