HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash in Hacienda Heights happened Monday morning on Colima Road at Countrywood Avenue.
The collision occurred in the westbound lanes of Colima Road about 11:03 a.m. on Jan. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported two white sedans collided when one of them allegedly drove through a red traffic light at the intersection.
A white Toyota Corolla sedan involved in the crash suffered major front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were on the scene to help at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case to determine liability for the crash on Colima Road in Hacienda Heights.
