Pedestrian Hai Nguyen, 73, Killed in Garden Grove Crash on Lewis Street

GARDEN GROVE, CA (May 28, 2023) – Hai Nguyen was killed after a pedestrian and car crash on Lewis Street in Garden Grove.

Police identified the 73-year-old Westminster man as the victim in the fatal accident which took place on Saturday.

Officers said Hai The Nguyen was involved in an accident which involved eight cars in Garden Grove. At least one vehicle struck the pedestrian in the 12100 block of Lewis Street.

Several Cars Involved in Collision

The Orange County Register and FOX 11 News wrote that the collision occurred on May 27 at around 5:54 p.m. Hai Nguyen died at the scene of the pedestrian accident.

Meanwhile, the reports mentioned that the cars crashed near Chapman Avenue. The cause of the Garden Grove pedestrian crash is still under investigation.

Officers forced a stretch Lewis Street to shut down for several hours near Chapman Avenue following the wreck.
