Haiou He, 61, Killed in Rosemead Hit-and-Run Crash on San Gabriel Boulevard
ROSEMEAD, CA (November 13, 2021) – Haiou He was killed after a hit-and-run crash on San Gabriel Boulevard in Rosemead.
The sheriff’s department identified the 61-year-old man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Monday morning.
The incident began when Haiou He became involved in a collision with a 2009 black Nissan Altima in Rosemead. He then exited his vehicle to speak with the other driver.
For an unknown reason, the operator of the Nissan put the car in reverse and ran over the victim. He struck him in the 2700 block of San Gabriel Boulevard.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Haiou He sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the Rosemead crash. Paramedics soon rushed him to an area hospital where he died on Wednesday.
The KTLA News and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on November 8 at about 10:38 a.m. It happened near the intersection of Garvey Avenue.
Meanwhile, officers said the other motorist did not stop to render aid and fled north on San Gabriel Boulevard. They are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect who fatally struck Haiou He.
