Woman Seriously Injured in Crash on Highway 92 Near Highway 35
HALF MOON BAY (April 2, 2018) – A woman was critically injrued after two vehicles collided on Highway 92 near Highway 35 Monday afternoon, according to CBS News and San Mateo Patch.
Shortly after 5 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the scene and immediately rendered aid to woman who was reportedly trapped in her vehicle. The victim was extricated and was then transported to a hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition.
Alcohol Factor in Half Moon Bay Head-On Crash
A man was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 92 when he struck the woman’s car. He reportedly crawled out of his vehicle and attempted to hide from authorities. The suspect was later located and believed to have been under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred.
Highway 92 was apparently closed between Main Street and Highway 35 to give way to the investigation.
