Sacramento Woman Killed in Crash with Dump Truck
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 18, 2022) – Hamuoi Eckel, 71, of Sacramento, died and another person was injured following a traffic accident on May 14th at Florin Road and Power Inn Road.
The drivers of a dump truck and sedan reportedly crashed at the busy intersection, according to KCRA and FOX News.
The crash occurred at the Sacramento intersection on Saturday, May 14th, police said.
Paramedics responded to provide medical aid to all the parties at the scene. They transported two victims to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Sadly, one patient succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The second patient remained at the hospital in unknown condition.
Traffic investigators remained at the scene for several hours. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim as Hamuoi Eckel on its website.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
