6 Injured in Hancock Park Crash on North Highland Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 19, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash on North Highland Avenue in the Hancock Park neighborhood.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:35 a.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Hancock Park. They crashed at 646 North Highland Avenue near Melrose Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide Near Melrose
One of the cars involved plowed into a building nearby. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage.
A total of six people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. The rescued individual and another person sustained major injuries upon impact.
The other four patients survived the wreck with minor wounds. Medical personnel took all six of them to area hospitals for treatment. Officials did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a portion of Highland Avenue to shut down following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Hancock Park wreck.
