Student Hit by Car on East Grangeville Boulevard
HANFORD, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2018) — A juvenile bicyclist was struck by a car Tuesday morning on East Grangeville Boulevard at Babe Ruth Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 7:30 a.m. near Richmond Elementary School and John F. Kennedy High School. Paramedics and police responded to the scene and found the child or teenager with injuries to the face. The victim was breathing and alert, the report said.
It’s unknown what led to the crash, nor liability at this time.
Police are reviewing all the evidence in an effort to determine fault.
