At Least 1 Killed after Car and Semi-Truck Collide
CHP first logged the incident when big rig and a black Chevrolet Cobalt collided at about 6:40 p.m. on 13th 1/2 Avenue at Excelsior.
As per the report log, Kings County Fire Department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person was killed in the crash. The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, it was not included in the dispatch if any other party sustained injuries following the wreck which involved a tomoto truck.
The cause incident remains under investigation.
