Motorcycle Rider Deceased on Scene
HANFORD, Calif. (August 15, 2024) — A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Wednesday in Hanford California in Kings County on Kansas Avenue and 10 1/2 Avenue.
The traffic accident occurred at around 4:05 PM Wednesday afternoon on August 14th 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 50-year-old man riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle apparently hit the brakes hard and crashed while headed east on Kansas Avenue. The bike went down on its left side and the rider was badly hurt.
The CHP report stated another vehicle was possibly involved was not at the scene upon the arrival of the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was down in the roadway and suffered fatal injuries.
The other motorist that left the scene later called authorities to report the motorcycle rider hit their vehicle.
Another vehicle involved in this accident was a semi truck which was parked south of the accident.
One person involved in the crash was reported deceased at the scene of the collision.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the Hanford fatal motorcycle accident which occurred on Kansas Avenue near 10 1/2 Avenue.
