Hannah Negate, 30, Killed in Santa Fe Springs Hit-and-Run Near Parkmead and Pioneer
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (January 1, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash near Parkmead Street and Pioneer Boulevard killed Hannah Negate in Santa Fe Springs.
Police identified the 30-year-old woman as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Thursday morning.
The hit-and-run incident happened when at least one vehicle going south on Pioneer Boulevard in Santa Fe Springs struck Hannah Negate.
The car hit her for an unknown reason near the intersection with Parkmead Street. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the pedestrian on the ground.
She ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
2 Drivers Sought
Hannah Negate died following the crash. The Whittier Daily News wrote that the accident occurred on December 30 at around 6:50 a.m.
Meanwhile, police added that two drivers were seen fleeing the area after the incident. They described the cars as a dark-colored 4-door sedan and a white 2011-2015 Nissan Rogue.
The Nissan possibly obtained front-end damage due to the impact of the collision. The Santa Fe Springs hit-and-run crash that fatally injured Hannah Negate is still under investigation.
