1 Killed, 2 Critically Injured in Hansen Dam Crash on Wentworth Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 27, 2022) – A crash killed one person and critically injured two others on Wentworth Street in the Hansen Dam area.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:07 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said two cars collided head-on in Hansen Dam near Lake View Terrace. The vehicles crashed in the 10800 block of Wentworth Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon pronounced one individual dead at the scene. Crews freed two trapped people from the wreckage.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a local hospital in critical condition. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Wentworth Street to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Hansen Dam crash is still under investigation.
