2 Hurt in Motorcycle Collision on Highwy 96 in Happy Camp
SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. (July 30, 2020) — Two people were injured Thursday in a motorcycle accident involving a deer on Highway 96 in Happy Camp.
The crash was reported about 12 p.m. at Elk Creek Road, just across the river from the Curly Jack Campground, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP report stated that an ambulance was needed for two people who were hurt in the collision. It’s unknown at this time if there were multiple vehicles involved or just the one motorcycle.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
