Cyclist Dies in Collision on Highway 1
Moss Beach, CA (October 6, 2022) – Harald Herrmann, a 55-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Highway 1.
According to the Daily Journal, Herrmann was riding a bicycle traveling on the highway in Moss Beach on September 28. Earlier reports indicated the collision happened when a truck crossed the double yellow lines and careened to the direction of the cyclist.

Officials said the truck ended up hitting Herrmann.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the cyclist suffering in injuries. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities identified the deceased as Harald Herrmann, of Moss Beach.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly crash that happened on Highway 1 in Moss Beach.
