
1 Killed, 3 Injured in Harbor City Crash Near 253rd Street and Vermont Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 4, 2023) – A crash killed one person and injured several others near 253rd Street and Vermont Avenue in Harbor City.
According to a report published by the On Scene TV, the tragic accident took place early Tuesday. Officers reported the wreck on April 4 at around 2:22 a.m.
The incident happened when two cars crashed in the Harbor City neighborhood of Los Angeles. The vehicles crashed in the 900 block of West 253rd Street near Vermont Avenue.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found one occupant pinned inside the wreckage. The trapped individual soon died at the scene.
Three other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed all three patients to the hospital, where one was listed in critical condition.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police located a nitrous oxide tank in one of the cars involved.
Officers forced the area of 253rd Street and Vermont Avenue to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Harbor City crash is still under investigation.
