Harbrinder Singh, 31, Victim in Motorcycle Accident Wednesday in Santa Clara
SANTA CLARA (November 16, 2017)- According to the Santa Clara Police Department, a 31-year-old man identified as Harbrinder Singh has sadly died of his injuries suffered following a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening.
The collision occurred at roughly 5:25 p.m. at the intersection of San Tomas Expressway and Scott Boulevard.
The article read that the victim, Harbrinder Singh, had been riding a 2012 Triumph motorcycle northbound along the Expressway approaching Scott Boulevard. As he entered the intersection with an alleged green light, he was suddenly struck by the driver of a Toyota minivan making a turn.
The collision caused Singh to be thrown from his bike which resulted in in significant injuries leaving the 31-year-old man in grave condition.
He was rushed to Santa Clara Valley Med Center where he sadly died shortly after being admitted into trauma.
So far preliminary investigations point to the driver of the minivan running a red light and turning directly into the path of the rider, however, a full fledged investigation will either support or disprove the current allegation.
No further details have been released at this time as the investigation is pending.
