Rider, 30, Dies After Collision Near Lakewood Memorial Park Sunday
Hughson, CA (November 3, 2021) – Harley Mason-Kocher, a 30-year-old Modesto resident, died following a traffic accident that occurred on Santa Fe Avenue on October 31.
The Ceres Courier News reported Harley Mason-Kocher was riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle heading south on Santa Fe Avenue. When the rider approached the area near Leedom Road, Harley Mason-Kocher attempted to pass the car in front of him.
Our sources indicated the motorcyclist eventually changed his mind, and pulled back into the southbound lane. In the process, the rider clipped the rear of the 2015 Infiniti and lost control of the motorbike.
Due to the collision, Harley Mason-Kocher was thrown onto the west shoulder of Santa Fe Avenue. The horrible crash took place Lakewood Memorial Park at about 2:35 p.m.

The article published online mentioned paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased as Harley Mason-Kocher, of Modesto.
Officials also identified the driver of the sedan as 27-year-old Maria Gomez. Per article published online, the female motorist and her 5-year-old passenger both appeared unharmed after the incident.
Further investigation on the unfortunate event is ongoing.
