Harold Rodriguez-Berrios, 33, Killed in Hemet Crash on Sanderson Avenue
HEMET, CA (June 9, 2022) – Harold Rodriguez-Berrios was killed after a motorcycle crash on Sanderson Avenue in Hemet.
The coroner’s office identified the 33-year-old Hemet as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened when Harold Rodriguez-Berrios was riding a Suzuki motorcycle north on North Sanderson Avenue in Hemet.
At the same time, a Ford Taurus was going south on the four-lane corridor. The car then made a left turn to go into a car wash and went directly into the path of the motorcyclist.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Police said in the process, the rider collided with the passenger side of the Ford near Devonshire Avenue. The Patch and My News LA wrote the accident occurred on June 8 at about 6:45 p.m.
Harold Rodriguez-Berrios ended up ejected onto the road as a result of the crash. Paramedics rushed him to the Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where he died.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the car stopped following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of Sanderson Avenue to shut down for a time after the collision.
The cause of the Hemet crash is still under investigation.
