Harold Raynold Vigeant, 82, Killed in Isleton Crash
ISLETON, Calif. (September 10, 2021) – Harold Vigeant, 82, of Concord, was killed after a crash at Highway 12 and Jackson Slough Road in Isleton.
The deadly collision happened on a Friday afternoon at about 2:05 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The CHP reports a red sedan and a green agriculture truck pulling double trailers collided for an unknown reason in Isleton. The two crashed on Highway 12 at the intersection with Jackson Slough Road.
Deadly Car Versus Semi-Truck Crash
The car went about 50 feet off the roadway and wound up with major damage. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that an occupant from the sedan died as a result of the collision. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner later identified the victim as Harold Vigeant.
It’s unknown if the driver of the big rig sustained any injuries. The front portion of the truck obtained damage following the Isleton crash.
Meanwhile, CHP forced Highway 12 at Jackson Slough to shut down for more a time after the wreck. The cause of the fatal collision is still under investigation.
