Multi-Vehicle Pileup Interstate 880 Freeway in Hayward
HAYWARD, Calif. (Nov. 24, 2020) –A Hayward crash on the Interstate 880 Freeway was reported Tuesday, just north of Whipple Road.
The California Highway Patrol reported the Hayward accident at 10:54 a.m.
The vehicles that collided included a Honda Pilot, a Mini Cooper, a Honda sedan, a beige Toyota Sienna and a blue Toyota 4 Runner SUV, the report said.

It’s unknown what led up to the multi-vehicle Hawyard crash, but an investigation is ongoing. The collision caused considerable traffic.
Among the vehicles towed from the scene was the Toyota Sienna with major front-end damage. Also towed was the blue Mini Cooper with moderate front and rear damage.
Additionally, a tow truck came to remove the Toyota SUV as it suffered moderate rear-end damage.
The cause of the crash will be determined once the CHP investigation is complete.
