1 Hospitalized After Traffic Collision on State Route 36 Monday
Hayfork, CA (June 21, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route 36, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a single-vehicle crashed for an unknown reason in the westbound side of State Route 36 in Hayfork. Officials said the car ended up driving down the embankment along the highway.
The CHP dispatched mentioned the collision happened near the Trinity River and mile marker 12.55.
Major Injury Car Accident in Hayfork, June 21
Shortly after 9:40 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found at least one person with major injuries. The unidentified victim sustained major trauma including a broken leg.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in Hayfork remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate at this time exactly how and why the collision happened.
