Major Traffic Collision Near Southland Mall Wednesday
Hayward, CA (June 9, 2021) – A car accident occurred in the area of Hesperian Boulevard and West Street in Hayward Wednesday evening, the KRON4 News reported.
Officials said the major traffic collision took place near Southland Mall in Hayward.
Shortly after 9 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Paramedics immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. The names of the possible victims in the crash, and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.
Roads Closed After Car Accident in Hayward, June 9
Responding police reportedly shut down the intersection of Hesperian Boulevard and West Street between Middle Lane and La Playa Drive. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate several factors surrounding the collision. Authorities continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident in Hayward happened.
