3-Vehicle Hayward Crash on I-880 Freeway
HAYWARD, Calif. (March 10, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Hayward crash happened Thursday on the Interstate 880 Freeway near the West Tennyson Road off ramp.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 1:43 p.m. on March 10th on the northbound side of the freeway.
A silver Kia SUV spun around and was facing the wrong way following the crash with a gray Audi A4 and a black pickup truck. The Audi suffered major front-end damage in the collision. The vehicles blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded due to minor injuries suffered by at least one person involved in the Hayward crash.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
