Driver hits Child and Flees at Campoy Street and Louis Krohn Drive
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (Feb. 18, 2019) — Hazel Conzet, 7, of Santa Rosa, was injured Saturday afternoon in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident.
The crash took place about 5:14 p.m. at Campoy Street and Louis Krohn Drive in west Santa Rosa. The child was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police are searching for the suspect, described as a light-skinned man with a beard and driving a dark-colored car. Surveillance video from a nearby security camera is being reviewed, but not released due to its graphic nature.
UPDATE: Dominick Weaver, 29, of Santa Rosa, arrested on felony hit-and-run charges.
Sonoma County Alliance’s Take Back Our Community Program offers up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run driver.
