Major Injury Head-on Crash on Bell Road

AUBURN, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2023) — A major injury car accident happened Thursday morning on Bell Road at Skyline Drive in North Auburn, California.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:05 a.m. on Oct. 26th, in front of the Bell Road Baptist Church, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a red Ford F-150 pickup truck and a blue Honda CRV were involved in the head-on crash. The pickup truck’s engine compartment caught on fire.

Paramedics and CAL Fire responded to the scene and located one person trapped in a vehicle with a major head injury, the report said. The person was extricated by firefighters and transported to a hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway and investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the accident on Bell Road in Auburn.
