4 Hospitalized After Collision on Mount Saint Helena
Napa County, CA (March 1, 2023) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Mount Saint Helena Wednesday morning, March 1.
According to CBS News, two vehicles collided head-on in Napa County. Our sources mentioned the wreck involved a silver Toyota Prius and a pickup truck. Officials said one vehicle veered into the opposite side of the road, and slammed head-on into the other car.
Major Car Accident in Napa County
Emergency crews later arrived—including the Napa County Fire; Cal Fire; the Napa office of the California Highway Patrol; the Calistoga Fire Department; a CHP helicopter; and an American Medical Response ambulance. Medical personnel rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, paramedics transported by ground ambulance two patients to the Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa. Authorities added a Calstar air ambulance and CHP helicopter, airlifted two other patients to Santa Rosa Memorial. The names of the patients, and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole morning. Officials from the Napa CHP Office continue to investigate the precise cause of the accident that happened on Mount Saint Helena in Napa County.
