EAST LOS ANGELES, California (August 19, 2016) – A head-on collision was reported on the southbound 710 Freeway Friday night, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident took place about 9:11 p.m., just north of Olympic Boulevard.
CHP first logged the incident when the driver of a white Pontiac G6 lost control of the car and struck the center divider. The dispatch added that a red Toyota Tundra then crashed head-on into the Pontiac.
As per the report log, Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene to attend to the parties who may have suffered injuries.
Meanwhile, CHP mentioned that the Pontiac was found facing the wrong way in traffic lanes following the wreck. A third vehicle may have been involved, however, it was not immediately confirmed.
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
