Minor Injury, Head-on Crash on Cabrillo Highway 1
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2021) — A head-on crash in Arroyo Grande happened Tuesday morning on Cabrillo Highway 1 near South Halcyon Road.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 8:02 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a white Hyundai Elantra and a silver Honda Civic collided when one of the motorists allegedly ran through a red traffic light at the intersection.

Both drivers managed to get out of their vehicles following the crash, but both cars had major front-end damage.
Paramedics responded due to minor injuries reported by at least one of the vehicle occupants.
It’s unknown if anyone went to a hospital, but the CHP reports there were minor injuries.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability. It’s unknown if there are any traffic citations at this time.
