2-Vehicle Collision on Claribel Road in Modesto
MODESTO, Calif. (Dec. 31, 2024) — A head-on crash happened Tuesday morning at Claribel Road and Wellsford Road in Modesto.
The two-vehicle collision occurred near 5907 Claribel Road at around 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 31st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a Ford F-150 pickup truck and another vehicle were involved. The pickup also struck a pole which fell down on top of the truck.
The other vehicle went roughly 40 feet off the roadway into a ditch and its occupants were possibly trapped in the wreckage.
Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there were no serious injuries reported.
Also, both vehicles were towed from the crash site.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the crash on Claribel Road in Modesto.
