2-Vehicle Car Accident in Kings County
UNINCORPORATED HUB, Calif. (July 26, 2023) — A head-on crash happened Wednesday afternoon at Excelsior Avenue, just east of East Street and 18th Avenue in unincorporated Hub, between Kings County and Fresno County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of Excelsior Avenue around 1:10 p.m. on July 26th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a Honda SUV and a Ford Fusion sedan were involved. Kings County Fire Department crews responded to the scene and located one of the cars in the front yard of a home. The crash ignited a small grass fire in the area.
Paramedics treated anyone hurt in the crash, but there are no further details.
Tow trucks removed the Ford due to major left-side damage and the Honda with major left-side damage and a missing front wheel.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Excelsior Avenue.
