Mendocino County: 3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision

FORT BRAGG, Calif. (July 9, 2024) — Three people were injured in a head-on crash Tuesday morning on Highway 20 also known as Fort Bragg-Willits Road in Mendocino County.

The two-vehicle collision occurred near 19201 State Route 20 near Three Chop Road at around 11 a.m. on July 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A bus driver called 911 to report a Jeep Renegade and a Honda CRV collided head-on and one of the vehicles went roughly 30 feet over the side of the roadway.

Paramedics from Cal Fire responded to the crash scene to transport those injured to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the two vehicles from the highway and investigators are working to determine fault for the Fort Bragg traffic accident.
