SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 6, 2022) — A head-on crash at Garfield and Madison avenues happened Wednesday morning in Sacramento.

The two-vehicle collision occurred about 7:44 a.m. on April 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials responded to the scene where they found a yellow Chevrolet Camaro overturned after it collided with a dark gray Toyota Prius.

One of the vehicles reportedly veered into the southbound lanes and collided with the other vehicle.

Also, the report stated a vehicle was smoking following the collision.

Paramedics with the Sacramento Fire Department responded to help those injured in the wreck, but there are no further details.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the Sacramento crash.
