Major Injury Crash Involving Semi-Truck on State Route 120
MOCCASIN, Calif. (May 10, 2024) — A head-on crash happened Friday on State Route Highway 120 at Moccasin Creed D Road and Highway 49 in Moccasin, Tuolumne County.
The drivers of a Kenworth semi-truck, a gray Subaru and a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck were involved in the crash at around 11:29 a.m. on May 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP dispatch operators reported at least two of the vehicles collided head-on and collided with a third vehicle.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help at least one person with major injuries from the Moccasin crash on Highway 120. The victim was airlifted to a hospital for further treatment.
Tow trucks removed at least two of the vehicles due to damage from the accident.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Moccasin crash on State Route 120.
