Head-on Crash Highway 17, Redwood Estates in Los Gatos

2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 17

LOS GATOS, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2025) — A head-on crash happened Friday on Highway 17 and the Redwood Estates off ramp in Los Gatos.

The two-vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lanes of SR-17 around 7:23 a.m. on Feb. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a green pickup truck and a red Toyota RAV4 SUV were involved. The vehicles were blocking the southbound Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.

Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there are no further details.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash and tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.
