2-Vehicle Collision on State Route Highway 247

YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2023) — A head-on crash happened Tuesday morning on State Route Highway 247 at Napa Street in Flamingo Heights in the Yucca Valley area.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on the northbound side of SR-247 also called Old Woman Springs Road at around 6:50 a.m. on Dec. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a red sedan and a black Chevrolet Equinox or Malibu were involved, but it’s unclear what caused the accident.

Paramedics responded to help those injured, however, there are no further details.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 247 in Flamingo Heights.
