Multi-Vehicle Crash on Farmington Road (State Route 4)

FARMINGTON, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2023) — A head-on crash happened Wednesday morning on Highway 4, also known as Farmington Road near Drais Road.

The traffic accident occurred at around 5:36 a.m. on Nov. 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver in a Chevrolet sedan was traveling eastbound when for unknown reasons it veered into oncoming westbound traffic and collided with a pickup truck and other vehicles.

The police dispatch stated a white Ford F-550 pickup, a silver Toyota Corolla and a black Acura MDX were among the vehicles that collided. Also, a blue Mazda 6 wound up roughly 30 feet down an embankment.

Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there are no further details at this time.

Police closed down the westbound lanes of SR-4 due to the crash and cleanup.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the collision.
