Woman Injured; Pickup Truck and Car Crash on Highway 58

BUTTONWILLOW, Calif. (Feb. 21, 2025) — A head-on crash happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 58 near Buttonwillow Drive in Buttonwillow.

The California Highway Patrol reported the drivers of a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck and a black Infiniti sedan were involved.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 20th, 2025, police said.

Paramedics responded and located a woman who was badly injured. She was taken to a hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles and CHP officials alerted Caltrans to a “lane merging sign on the left side that was taken out from the traffic collision,” the report said.

Investigators are working to determine liability for the collision on Highway 58 in Buttonwillow.
