2-Vehicle Collison on State Route 74 in Homeland
HOMELAND, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2023) — A head-on crash happened Friday afternoon on Highway 74 at Creag Avenue in Homeland.
The traffic accident occurred around 2:16 p.m. on Oct. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Toyota SUV and a second vehicle were involved, police said.
One of the vehicles reportedly veered into opposing traffic and collided with the other motorist. A vehicle was blocking the westbound lanes and another came to a stop in the median.
Paramedics from Cal Fire Riverside responded to help those hurt in the Homeland crash on Highway 74.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Homeland crash.
